A Little Taste of Christmas 2011

Jack, still participating (even at his advanced age)

Yeah, as of Sunday evening he's living entirely on these cookies and several vitamins.

...which explains the sugar eyes.

Novelty = the thing at the top flies off and the alarm doesn't go off until he puts it back on. Just what our sleepy sleeper needs!

Bakugan from grandma and grandpa! (On the list & I'd never heard of it, thankfully there was a spare 7 year old in Target to help me out)

Vet kit vet kit vet kit (all we've been hearing for a few weeks). The puppy is recovering nicely, btw.

Cheeeeeeeeeeese! Merry Christmas (and thank you grandma and grandpa)

Christmas With Lucy

...wishing for things to happen.

Com'ere you sneaky present!

Very Ungentlemanly

First, I should say that my husband is a big stinky cheater who made me cry. Second, I will say that he's pretty awesome.

He wildly broke our "gentleman's agreement" to get each other no more than a few low cost "baubles" for Christmas by getting me a camera so amazing I was afraid to touch it for a few hours. Then he called me a pussy and I finally started playing around with it for a bit. I believe this makes him Not A Gentleman X 2.

But here, unedited except for a bit of cropping, are my first few pictures with my new digital SLR. I have no idea what I'm doing, and even in horrific lighting, here they are:

Breakfast With Santa + Let the Holiday Season Begin

Thanksgiving weekend, also known as Not Shorts Weather. Here, our beautiful tree, 2011 edition

Craft time!

Yes, that would be my child sitting in Santa's chair for the entire reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.

New skill: cutting pancakes!

Not new skill: thinking of things he wants!

Yep, this is pretty much what it's all about...

Descalso & Robinson

A very good little engine waiting in a LOT of lines. The popcorn helped, we think.

Jack and the rule I like to call The Nacho Constant

Sean: Not the generic name you think it is

Okay, so he was ever so slightly unsupervised.

And he kind of helped himself to the largest pair of scissors in the house.

And no one went to check on him when we heard a bunch of banging.

And then...

This is the newest being in the Watson house. It is a robot that will totally mess you up if you're mean to it.

His name?

Sean.

Yes, that is a bottle of glue sticking out of Sean's "neck".

Where does it go? Here.
